March 19th, COVID Update

After today’s COVID-19 update meeting all employees should have received the guidelines for employees in the case of exposure, safety memo for field personnel and an update from Human Resources outlining some modifications to the Supplemental and Pandemic Leave Authorization. If you have not received those items, look for them in your inbox or reach out to your supervisor.

We want to work with our customers during this time, as we understand the economic impacts of COVID-19 will greatly increase the need within our community. We are continuing to look at additional ways we can help our community. Beginning on Monday, we will be mailing a postcard to every Cowlitz PUD customer, communicating the changes we have made for public access and additional payment options. This postcard includes a message for customers, who may be struggling, to reach out to a Customer Service Representative who can assist them with their bill payment needs.

For every communication we send out, we continue to stress the importance of social distancing. As mentioned before, Business Unit plans have been implemented and are continually being monitored and adjusted as needed.  Social Distancing should be practiced in both your work life and personal life. Thank you all for being patient and understanding during this time.
